| JOHN JARAMILLO |
At the young age of 18, John Jaramillo joined the Marine Corps and served for 4 years, eventually becoming infantry team leader. While John was in Iraq, he was injured and subsequently diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Since his return from Iraq, John hoped to get a job with a great company like Northrop Grumman. Guillermo Nava, John’s best friend and Operation IMPACT hire, saw the perfect opportunity to introduce him to Debbie Ortega, Operation IMPACT Program Administrator. John now works for Mission Systems as a mail clerk in the San Diego, Calif., facility. He has used the skills he gained from the military, such as attention to detail and timeliness of accomplishing a mission, and applied them to his role at Northrop Grumman. John expressed how thankful he is to Debbie for his smooth transition. This energetic young man is an asset to the Northrop Grumman family and we value his service to our country.
