| ADAM DAVIS |
Adam Davis joined the Marine Corps a few years after graduating from Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith, Va. After basic training, he received orders to the Third Marine Airwing at MCAS Miramar in California. Once there, he began preparing to deploy to Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Injuries he sustained in Iraq took him to the Balboa Naval Medical Center for recovery. He began helping Jennifer Reichard with the Department of Veterans, and later he met Tracey Daley, Operation IMPACT Champion for Northrop Grumman. Tracey told Adam about Operation IMPACT and the success it was having recruiting severely wounded soldiers and marines.
Adam was hired by Northrop Grumman in April 2008 as an Engineering Technician in the Integrated Systems sector in Rancho Bernardo, Calif. "If it were not for this program I would never be where I am today,” says Adam. “This has been one of the best experiences of my life and I look forward to a long rewarding future with Northrop Grumman. My thanks go out to Tracey Daley and all the people who helped make this life changing experience possible.”
